VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Contractor crews with the Virginia Department of Transportation have reopened Fremac Drive, between Laskin Road and Reynard Drive. This marks completion of storm water and sewer drain improvements as part of the Laskin Road Bridge Replacement and Widening Project.
Before additional roadway work is done along Laskin Road to construct a concrete median, the entrance and exit to Fremac Drive will be restricted to a right in/right out configuration along Laskin Road. This will remain after the overall project is completed.
The detour via Winwood Drive has been removed following the reopening of this portion of Fremac Drive.
Motorists along eastbound Laskin Road are urged to follow posted maintenance of traffic signs and direction as construction continues.
