HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect accused of shooting a teen to death at a fast-food restaurant.

On Nov. 22, 2023, Hampton police were called to the Rally’s on Mercury Boulevard for the report of a shooting. When officers arrived on the scene, they found 17-year-old Brian Fullerton suffering from a gunshot wound. Fullerton later died from his injuries.

During the investigation, police identified Elijah James-Sanders as a suspect in the shooting. James-Sanders is wanted for second degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, burglary while armed, discharging a firearm within a building, and wearing a mask in public.
