JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — A man charged with rape and forcible sodomy in James City County turned himself in at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail Monday, police said.
Damecus Demory White, 33, was wanted by James City County Police following a months-long investigation into multiple alleged sex crimes, police said, and authorities obtained warrants for him June 26.
White was believed to be living in the greater Williamsburg region on a transient basis.
