NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Keyshawn Davis visited the band students at Booker T. Washington High School Friday.
On Nov. 8, the Norfolk native defeated Gustavo Lemos in the WFO Intercontinental and IBF Intercontinental Lightweight Title in his hometown at the Scope Arena. Booker T. Washington’s band escorted him to the ring on the triumphant night.
A video clip below shows Davis being greeted by the band playing upon entering the school.
Davis took photos with the band students and showed appreciation for their contribution on the highly anticipated night.
