PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth police say a 62-year-old man was fatally shot by his brother on Thursday on Hancock Avenue.
The victim was found Thursday afternoon in the 700 block of Hancock Avenue, near the convergence of Victory Blvd. and Greenwood Drive. He was identified on Friday as 60-year-old Clarence McManes.
Police arrested his brother, Reginald McManes, who’s been charged with first-degree murder.
No other details in the case have been shared at this time.
