Rock The Park
Saturday, June 22 from 6 p.m. at Chesapeake City Park
The Wailers headline this outdoor fundraiser concert. Gates open and food trucks will be available starting at 6 p.m. Performances kick off at 6 p.m. with Jeremy Jackson, followed by Steve Forss at 7 p.m. and The Wailers at 8 p.m. Tickets are required. Children 12 and under get in for free and parking is also free.
Norfolk
Norfolk Flea Market After Dark
Friday, June 21 from 5-10 p.m. at COVA Brewing Company
Join the first Norfolk Flea Market After Dark Edition. The event will feature over 70 vendors. There will be a mix of items including, vintage, art, crafts, antiques and more. Enjoy all that COVA Brewing Company has to offer with food trucks on-site. Free parking is located across the street. The event is open to all.
Summer of Learning Kickoff Event
Saturday, June 22 at the Mary D. Pretlow Anchor Library from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The kickoff to Norfolk’s six week long summer programming is this weekend. Start the program with a day of activities including, music tutorials, yoga, crafts, face painting and more. Hard Times Go Skate Daze 2024
Friday, June 21 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Craddock Skate Park
This two-day event celebrates Juneteenth and more. On Friday, get free skateboard lessons, enjoy open skate and more. There will be giveaways, food and fun for all ages. The event is hosted by Hard Times Skate Shop and Portsmouth Parks and Recreation. The event is free and open to all.
Port City Seafood Festival
Saturday, June 21 from 4-8 p.m. at Portside Park, 2 Harbor Ct.
The Rotary Clubs of Portsmouth and Churchland are hosting the 38th annual fundraising event. It goes to the organizations to continue their support of local charities, nonprofit organizations and community initiatives. Enjoy the authentic seafood festival with all-inclusive food and beverage, live music, dancing and more fun. Tickets are required. Click here to find out more.

Farmhouse Kempsville Summer Block Party
Saturday, June 22 at 11 a.m. at Back Bay Farmhouse Brewery
Get ready to kick off the official start of summer. There will be live music, a petting zoo, pony rides, food trucks and more. Enjoy Kate’s Next Door Neighborhood Market with local goodies. Play fun yard games and other activities for the whole family. It is free and open to the public.
Kaizen For The K9s
Saturday, June 22 at 7:30 a.m. at Kaizen Athletics
Join Kaizen Athletics to sweat for the paws and raise money for the working K9s. Event includes a local food truck and treats from Neptune Dog Bakery. The National Anthem will kick off the event at 7:30 a.m. The partner workout will begin at 8 a.m. and run every 30 minutes. There will be a K9 Demo, Spikes Swag and more! There is limited parking available, so park on the side streets and walk over.
Williamsburg
Williamsburg Live
June 21-23 at the Lawn of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg
The three-day music weekend is back with performances by The Beach Boys, Tower of Power featuring Tauk and Laufey. Enjoy the music, fresh local food, regional beverages and more.
