SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Art Show and Sale is back for its 38th annual year. The 10-day event kicks off Saturday and will run through Feb. 4.

Over the 10 days, visit with and see artworks from more than 150 local and regional artists. They will showcase crafts from fine art, jewelry, pottery, glass art, sculpture and more.

The 2024 Featured Artist is Carson Overstreet. Overstreet is from Bedford. According to the event, her current artwork focus is the creation of landscapes and floral paintings.

  • Jan. 27: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Jan. 28: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Jan. 29 – Feb. 2: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Feb. 3: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Feb. 4: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission to the event is free and it is open to the public. It will be located at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, Lower School Main Campus, 3373 Pruden Boulevard.
