NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – A man was arrested on Tuesday in connection with a shooting on J. Clyde Morris Boulevard.

According to officials, on March 17 just after 9 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 900 block of J. Clyde Morris Boulevard for reports of a shooting.
Officers arrived to the scene and found man with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transferred to a local hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Following an investigation, on Tuesday, officers arrested 35-year-old Marckus Lindsay-Holliday in connection with the shooting. Lindsay-Holliday was then charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, discharging a firearm in public and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
The incident remains under investigation.
