NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — One person was displaced by an early morning house fire in Norfolk.
Wednesday just before 2 a.m., a fire was reported on the 900 block of South Quail Street. When crews arrived on the scene they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the home.
Crews aggressively attacked the flames and had the fire under control by 2:42 a.m.
No one was hurt in the fire, and the Red Cross is assisting the person who was displaced.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
