Eastbound lanes of Downtown Tunnel to temporarily close overnight on September 12

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Elizabeth River Crossings (ERC) has announced that all eastbound lanes of the Downtown Tunnel will be closed on September 12.

Officials say that the lanes will close at 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 12 and are expected to reopen the following morning, September 13 at 4 a.m.

Correction: The original version of this story said the lanes would close in a different tunnel. The correct location is the Downtown Tunnel.
