NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Firefighters were called to the 500 block of Oak Grove Road Thursday afternoon to battle a house fire.
According to Norfolk dispatch, they received the call at 1:06 p.m.
A fire spokesperson told WAVY News 10 it appears the fire started outside, then spread to the home.
Crews arrived on scene to find smoke and fire at the back side of the house.
The crews on scene then moved quickly to get the fire under control, attacking it from multiple points.
There are no reports of any injuries.
The fire department did report someone was injured in another house fire that broke out around the same time as this one. Fire broke out at a home in the 500 block of Roland Drive around 2 p.m.
