Joy Ministries to hold car giveaway at 24th annual Mothers Day Celebration

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — One deserving single mom will drive away in a new car this Mother’s Day.

Joy Ministries will give away a used Hyundai Elantra at its 24th annual Mother’s Day Celebration. The giveaway was made possible through the Cars for Moms program.

During the event, women will be honored with gifts and a banquet dinner.

Danette Crawford, host of “Joy with Danette” will share a message of encouragement rooted in her personal experience.

The free event gets underway 4:15 p.m. at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel, 777 Waterside Drive in Norfolk.
