NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Several vehicles caught fire Thursday afternoon at Norfolk International Airport before firefighters were able to extinguish the flames.

Airport officials say the fire started in one vehicle, which was leaking fluid, around 4 p.m. in the General Aviation Terminal’s public parking lot, and quickly spread to about five others before firefighters put out the flames.

No one was hurt, and the cause of the fire is under investigation by Norfolk Fire Marshals.

The Norfolk Fire Department assisted the Airport Fire Department.
