NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Norfolk Fire-Rescue responded to a detached garage fire on Oaklawn Avenue late Thursday night.
According to officials, crews were dispatched to the 1100 block of Oakland Avenue around 11:16 p.m. for reports of a residential structure fire.
Crews arrived to the scene and saw a detached garage with heavy flames. The fire was under control by 11:43 p.m.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
