ODU issues campus alert about recent vehicle break-ins

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Old Dominion University (ODU) Police Department says it has seen a recent spike in vehicle break-ins at campus parking lots.

The break-ins and thefts happened at night on Jan. 25 and Jan. 26 in University Parking Lots 42, 43, 16, V2, and V3.  Police received reports from multiple vehicle owners.


ODU sent an alert to the campus community about the incidents Friday.

Police say they have two potential male suspects in this case and are urging anyone with information that could aid in the investigation to come forward.
