NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk had its second fire of the day on March 16.
Norfolk Fire-Rescue crews responded to the fire that was reported around 2:05 p.m. at on 36th Street. They arrived to find smoke coming from the basement in a boarding house, that was determined to be started by several space heaters.
The fire was brought under control around 2:25 p.m., and an unknown number of occupants were displaced. Nobody was reported injured.
