NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Two people were stabbed Thursday evening at the Salvation Army on 19th Street in Norfolk, police say.
The call for the stabbing came in at 8:45 p.m. at the Salvation Army on 19th Street. Officers found the victims with non life-threatening lacerations at the scene and they were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Detectives have since charged two people in the case.
23-year-old Mahogany L. Leslie-Daniels is charged with one count of malicious wounding with a caustic substance, and 39-year-old Steven C. Sturdivant is charged with two counts of malicious wounding.
Police say both Leslie-Daniels and Sturdivant were also treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries sustained during the fight.
Both are being held without bond.
