NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A man has died following a shooting that occurred on July 3 in Norfolk.
According to dispatch, the call for the shooting came in around 10:10 p.m. in the 2900 block of Hollister Ave. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The man, identified as 28-year-old Jalanu L. Colbert, was transported to a local hospital where he later died on July 9.
No further information has been released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
