NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Three people have been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that killed a man late Tuesday night in Norfolk.
Two people — Isaiah K. Roberson, 26, of Petersburg and Gavin M. Kearney, 21, of Suffolk, have been each charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm, while Shanasia A. Lyles, 19, of Portsmouth, has been charged with being an accessory after the fact.
All three are currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
Police, meanwhile, have identified the victim as Christopher Ambrister, 32, who was found at the Motel 6 at 853 N. Military Hwy around 11:20 p.m. with life-threatening gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is an ongoing investigation, and detectives have not released any additional circumstances this incident.
