NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Two people have been arrested in connection with a stabbing on West Ocean View Avenue that left a man with life-threatening injuries on Monday, police said.

According to police, officers were called to Ocean View Beach Park around 4:40 p.m. on April 15 for reports of a stabbing.

Officers arrived to the scene to find a 37-year-old man suffering from life-threatening injuries. The man was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries, police said.

After an investigation, officers arrested 44-year-old Rodney Turner and 36-year-old Shannon Lichterman in connection with the incident. Both have been charged with malicious wounding and conspiracy.

Turner and Lichterman are both being held at the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
