NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Two men were injured early Friday morning in a shooting in the NEON District of Norfolk.
Norfolk police said in a tweet there was a call for a shooting in the 800 block of Granby Street around 1:45 a.m.
10 On Your Side’s Kiahnna Patterson has been at the scene since around 2:30 a.m., and witness told her he woke up and heard a gunshot and then a man screaming for help.
Police said in the tweet one of the men shot was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.
The other man shot was treated on scene.
Information about the motive and circumstance of the shooting was not immediately available.
