NPD investigating death of 3-year-old child found in pool

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police are investigating the death of a 3-year-old child.

Sunday just before 1 p.m., first responders were called to a home on the 1800 block of Brookwood Road for the report of a 3-year-old child found unresponsive in a swimming pool.

The child was taken to CHKD and later pronounced dead. Police are investigating the incident as an undetermined death.
