MANTEO, N.C. (WAVY) — The Cape Hatteras Seashore has closed a small stretch of beach in Rodanthe due to exposed hazards.
These hazards include a home septic system, wires, pipes and broken concrete parking pads.
Officials say the hazard could be present in other areas of the beach and advise beachgoers to be cautious.
