NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man was shot on Argonne Avenue Thursday evening and has what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries, police said.

Norfolk Police responded to the 1400 block of Tidewater Drive around 8:15 p.m. for a report of a gunshot victim, police said, and when officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Officers later determined that the shooting took place in the 2600 block of Argonne Avenue.
