Police investigating death at Portsmouth skate park

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth police are conducting a death investigation Wednesday morning at a skate park on George Washington Highway.

Police haven’t shared additional details in the case, but they got the call at 4:21 a.m.

Police were still at the scene in the 4000 block of George Washington Highway as of 7:50 a.m., with crime tape blocking off the area. WAVY’s crew spotted the coroner taking a body away from the scene.
