PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — One man is dead following a two-vehicle crash at a Portsmouth intersection Friday afternoon, police said.
Around 4:41 p.m., police responded to a crash at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Effingham Street. When they arrived, officers found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries, and he was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The man was the driver in one of the vehicles and speed was determined to be a factor.
Police said there are no other details available at this time.
