Police: ‘Domestic in nature’; woman hurt after shooting in Suffolk

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A woman was hurt after a shooting in Suffolk on Sunday night, police said.

Around 8:50 p.m., Suffolk Police responded to the 100 block of North Street for a reported gunshot wound victim. A woman was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Initial investigations show this incident appears to be domestic in nature.
