PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A man has been hospitalized following a shooting in Portsmouth early Monday morning.
According to police, the shooting happened around 1:20 a.m. Monday in the 2900 block of Turnpike Road, not far from Frederick Boulevard and Dartmouth Street.
At the location, a man was found with a gunshot wound. The man has been transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
