PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Portsmouth Police said they were investigating a shooting near the 900 block of Amelia Avenue Monday evening in which a woman suffered a life-threatening injury.
Police say the call for the shooting came in around 11:10 p.m. and the woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police said more information would follow as it became available.
