PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – The Portsmouth Health Department Clinic announced they will be closed on Friday due to a plumbing issue.

According to a release, first floor flooding caused by plumbing issues has caused the clinic and the Vital Records department, located on 1701 High Street, to close on Friday, Aug. 2.

Those who have scheduled lab appointments on Monday, Aug. 5 will not be impacted. The clinic will remain closed on Monday.

All other health department services have been unaffected and remain open.
