PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Police say a man fatally shot his realtor before taking his own life Friday evening in Portsmouth.
According to police, they received a call around 6 p.m. for an incident in the 70 block of Bolling Road. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with an 84-year-old man who told them he “killed his realtor.”
The man, Albert Baglione, was holding a weapon in his hand at the time of the encounter. After talking with police, he shut the door. At this point, police reported hearing a gunshot.
Police then established a perimeter around the house before SWAT team members entered the building and found that the man had taken his own life.
Once inside the home, officers located 41-year-old Soren Arn-Oelschlegel with a fatal gunshot wound.
