The man, Albert Baglione, was holding a weapon in his hand at the time of the encounter. After talking with police, he shut the door. At this point, police reported hearing a gunshot.

Once inside the home, officers located 41-year-old Soren Arn-Oelschlegel with a fatal gunshot wound.
