PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A man was found dead inside a home on Prospect Parkway in Portsmouth Thursday afternoon in what police are classifying as a suspicious death investigation.
Portsmouth Police said they responded to a home in the 10 block of Prospect Parkway, near the corner with Bainbridge Avenue, around 1:20 p.m. in reference to a suspicious situation.
When they arrived, police said they found a dead man inside a vacant home on Prospect Parkway. Police have not yet identified the man.
Police said they have no additional information available.
