PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Employees of Rivers Casino and its parents company, Rush Street Gaming, are giving back to first responders and military both nationally and locally.
On Thursday, all five Rivers Casino locations across four states participate in the company’s second annual Rivers Gives Day of Service. This includes casinos in Portsmouth, Virginia, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Des Plaines, Illinois (Chicago area) and Schenectady, New York.
Volunteers are going to veterans’ service centers or first responder organizations to participate in “facility enhancement and beautification efforts, such as groundskeeping and cleanups.”
