NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A soldier at Joint Base Langley-Eustis has been released from the hospital after reportedly being stabbed on base.

An Army spokesperson confirmed the soldier’s release on Tuesday.

The stabbing reportedly happened on early Monday and led to Riverside Regional Medical Center going into lockdown. Riverside said they received two stabbing victims.

The Army hasn’t released additional information in the case, but it’s under investigation by the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division.
