SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Two adults are displaced after a residential fire on Pruden Boulevard in Suffolk.

On Friday, Suffolk Emergency Communications Dispatch Center dispatched the incident at approximately 1:35 p.m.

Engine 6 arrived in the 3000 block of Pruden Boulevard at 1:39 p.m. Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke and fire showing from a shed attached to a mobile home with extension into the residence.

Engine 6 and Ladder 6 begin fire attack to the shed and the interior of the residence. Heavy fire and smoke damage occurred to the shed and throughout the mobile home.

Two cats were rescued from the home.

As for the two displaced adults, they are receiving aid from the American Red Cross.

The cause and origin of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office. No injuries occurred to any occupants or firefighters.
