Temperatures are set to climb back into the 90s this weekend with ripe humidity values, but fortunately an active pattern keeps it short lived.
Track 1
Breaking The Habit by Linkin Park
The break from the summer heat continues for one more day, Friday, with temperatures pinned in the 80s. However, things remain pretty muggy, so with the added sunshine it could feel closer to 90° for most of the day.
Track 2
Heat Waves by Glass Animals
Summer time heat and humidity surge on Saturday and Sunday with air temperatures in the mid 90s for most of the weekend. Humidity will also climb a bit, so expect heat index values around 100° on Saturday, then between 100° & 105° on Sunday! Stay hydrated and find those cool spots!
Track 3
More Than A Feeling by Boston
Fortunately, more rain is on the way – not during the weekend to cool us off, but later Sunday there is another cool front that will approach the region. It could give us some afternoon or evening thunderstorms, with a better chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms Monday. More notably, this will cut down the heat and humidity for the first few days of the workweek.
After all… it’s summer time in Hampton Roads!
