The soggy pattern that we’ve been stuck in will finally come to an end… just in time for the weekend and we’ll be able to enjoy some wonderful weather. It’s been awhile, too, the past five weekends in Hampton Roads have featured either big time heat, or rain, or both. This weekend? Nothing to worry about!

Track 1
Movin’ Out by Billy Joel
The stubborn front that has provided us this soggy pattern finally moves out on Friday. It slowly dips to the south, taking the moisture with it and allowing dry air to move in from the north. This will set up a wonderful weekend of weather!

Track 2
Tears Dry On Their Own by Amy Winehouse
We’ll slowly dry out on Friday as the front dips to the south. We still expect some morning showers for the Outer Banks and a few isolated showers elsewhere through late morning… but by the end of the day will have a mix of sun and clouds as the dry air slowly moves in.

Track 3
Breaking The Girl by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Not only do we break this soggy pattern, but the humidity breaks this weekend as well. As that dry air comes in Friday to transition us into a nice weekend, the humidity drops off to comfortable summer standards. Saturday and Sunday look wonderful with increasing sunshine, low humidity and highs in the 80s.

Other than a brief shower for the Outer Banks both Friday and Saturday, enjoy this weekends’ weather… we haven’t had one like this in over a month!
