SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man was found shot on Wilson Street in downtown Suffolk Friday night, police said.
Suffolk Police responded to the 400 block of Wilson Street around 8:45 p.m. for reports of gunshots fired, and when they arrived, police said they found a man with a gunshot wound to the lower leg.
The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police continue to investigate the shooting.
