Red-light cameras for Route 58 intersection in Suffolk enter warning period

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The 30-day warning period has gone into effect for red-light photo enforcement cameras that have been installed at Holland Road and Business Route 58, the city of Suffolk said Wednesday.

It said in this period, anyone caught violating red-light rules will receive a cautionary letter delivered to their residence, and beginning Aug. 2, offenders will be fined $50.

Suffolk is in its 30-day warning period for red-light cameras at Main Street and Constance Road. Starting July 21, drivers will incur a $50 fine for violations.
