SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — While saving lives and responding to emergency situations is part of their everyday responsibilities, Suffolk Fire and Rescue went above and beyond the call of duty on Saturday.

Engine 6 responded to a man who was injured while cutting his grass. After the man was transported the hospital, two firefighters from Engine 6 finished cutting the man’s grass.

The two firefighters were Patrick Madariaga and Josh Baker.
