Suffolk makes top 100 for best healthy, budget-friendly food

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk made the top 100 for locations in America with the best healthy and budget-friendly food options, new survey shows.

The poll was done by BadCredit.org who ran a survey using 3,000 “foodies” to find the best spots to eat healthily on a budget. Downtown Suffolk ranked No. 89 on the list.

The No. 1 spot went to South End in Hartford, Connecticut. Two other Virginia cities were named with Richmond’s Carytown as No. 2 and Downtown Charlottesville at No. 95.
