NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Two adults and their pet were displaced after a fire just before noon on Thursday, officials said.
Crews arrived at the 700 block of Denison Avenue to find smoke coming from the residence. Crews entered with an attack hose line and found fire in the kitchen area.
No injuries reported. Two adults and a pet were displaced and Red Cross has been notified. Fire control was called around 12:10 p.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
