VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – The city of Virginia Beach said its emergency communications and citizen services was experiencing connectivity issues Monday evening. At 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, VBPD tweeted that the issues were resolved.
At 10:50 p.m. Monday, the city said the non-emergency number (757-385-5000), 311 and live chat were not working and that 911 could be used for non-emergency calls, but service would be prioritized for residents seeking emergency help.
Again, communications were restored Tuesday morning.
