VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night that sent a 14-year-old boy to the hospital.
Around 7:45 p.m. police were called to the 5800 block of Newtown Arch for the report of someone wounded by gunshots. When police arrived on the scene, they found a 14-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds. Police say the 14-year-old’s injuries are not life-threatening.
Images from the scene show it happened at an apartment complex.
Police say this incident is also related to a 21-year-old man that checked into Sentara Leigh Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
This incident is currently under investigation with Virginia Beach police detectives.
No arrests have been made.
