VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — As temperatures hover just south of 90 degrees, more than 5,000 Dominion Energy customers are without power Monday afternoon around the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
The outages seem to be affecting areas from Pacific Avenue to the west, stretching in one area along I-264 almost to First Colonial Road.
The outage also stretches north to the Princess Anne Country Club and south toward the Norfolk Avenue area.
There’s no word on what caused the outage at this time, but Dominion says it expects power to be restored between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. To check the outage map, click here.
