VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – The Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to a storage unit fire on Honeygrove Road Tuesday morning.
According to officials, crews were dispatched to the 4600 block of Honeygrove Road just before 7 a.m. for reports of a commercial structure fire. This is in the Bayside area of the city.
Crews arrived to the scene and found heavy smoke coming from multiple storage units. Four of the units sustained heavy smoke damage.
The fire was considered under control by 7:48 a.m. No injuries were reported during the incident.
The cause and origin of the fire remains under investigation.
