VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A former Virginia Beach teacher is facing new charges, just months after police found him high in a Walmart parking lot.
William Stravino was arrested again on May 8 for public intoxication and possession of marijuana, after police say a sheriff’s deputy saw Stravino passed out on the concrete at a 7-Eleven at Lynhaven Parkway and Magic Hollow Blvd.
Back in February officers found Stravino inside a car with four canisters of canned duster and two large bottles of Nyquil.
Stravino’s employment as a teacher ended in April after his first arrest, according to a school district spokesperson. He had worked in the district since 2003.
