Virginia Beach home damaged in fire, 3 displaced

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – A home in the Kempsville area of Virginia Beach was damaged Wednesday as the result of a fire that left three adults displaced.

The Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to the fire around 5:51 p.m. in the 600 block of Brookeway Court in the Kempsville area of the city, with the first-arriving firefighters reporting heavy smoke and fire on the rear side of the house.

VBFD said the fire was under control within 15 minutes, and there were no reported injuries.
