VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A shooting victim arrived at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital early Saturday morning.
Emergency communications say the victim arrived at the hospital around 1 a.m.
According to a news release from Virginia Beach Police, the man drove himself to the hospital after he was shot on Prince William Court. He was treated for a non life-threatening gunshot wound, police said. Another man injured in that shooting died at the scene.
A representative with Sentara tells WAVY News that the hospital was put on a ‘restricted access’ modified lockdown for the patient’s treatment area as protocol.
